I'm so excited!

I signed up for Anna Dobrawska aka Finnabair's class on July 6 2014.  It's being held at the Clipper Street Scrapbooking Store in Langley, B.C., Canada.  The class I'm taking is the Industrial Baroque class, I love mixed media. I'm so looking forward to meeting her and learning from her.  I love her work!

Again I made my own sprays, and used a lot of found objects from around the house.  

Her favorite colors are Teal and Red

This my first mixed media canvas.  

I loved making this!! i feel like i have found my calling now!  

I can include all the different areas of crafting that I do and feature them all in one place!

I am calling it "Pretty in Pink"

I made all my sprays, I really love how they turned out.

My first project in my nice organized craft space

I started my first project in my new organized craft room, what a difference it makes knowing where everything is and where it isn't ;). 

I'm working on a altered art, mixed media canvas.  It is a lot of work, but I am loving it.  I am making one for my niece, she is graduating so I'm going to put her picture on it, with her favourite colours and so on.  I thought it would be a good idea if I made one for me first, seeing as this is my first one I wanted to get the kinks out.

As soon as I figure out how to add photos to my posts I will put some pictures up.

Hopefully I will be able to start my nieces canvas by the weekend!!

I organized my craft room

I spent last week scouring Pinterest and YouTube watching craft room tours and anything to do with organizing a craft room. Armed with all this knowledge I was ready to take on my room. Well I finally did it!  It probably took me all together 8 hours doing, that was spread out over 3 days. I had piles and piles of stuff I got rid of.  It is so nice in here...I know as soon as I start my first project it will be back to chaos, a much organized chaos!!
